Quick tips for healthy hair
- Don't tie your hair very tightly, as this encourages hair loss and breakage.
- Use satin or silk scrunchies to tie your hair.
- Massage olive oil or coconut oil in your hair for 10 minutes, and leave it in for around 2 hours. It will help your hair grow.
- Most people use more shampoo than they need. A small coin size is enough.
- Don't use hot water to wash your hair, as it can damage your hair.
- Rinse your hair under cold water after you finish shampooing and conditioning to make it shine and look even more luscious than it was before.
- When towel drying, don't rub the hair vigorously. This splits the hair. Try using a microfiber towel as they soak up lots of moisture.
- Do not sleep with wet or damp hair. This will weaken the follicles and make hair strands brittle. Blow dry in low heat at the roots before bed.
- Change your cotton pillowcases to Satin or silk pillowcases.
- Don't blow dry hair too frequently. Frequent blow drying, or use of other heat products, can stress your hair.
- If you absolutely have to use heat, make sure you use a Thermal Protective spray first.
