ATTENTION: Step 2 contains Formaldehyde. Please follow all recommended procedures when using this product, always use it in a well-ventilated area and stop any use if you or your clients experience any adverse effects.

HAIR STRAND TEST: Before applying the product throughout the hair, we highly recommend performing a hair strand test.
Strand Test Steps:

1️⃣ Select a small section of hair
2️⃣ Apply the smoothing treatment
3️⃣ Leave for 30 minutes, rinse, blow-dry, and straighten
4️⃣ Run the hair straightener six times over the section
5️⃣ Start at 150°C, increasing by 5-degree increments until steam appears and the iron glides smoothly.

Blonde and grey hair may experience yellowing due to high straightener temperatures. To ensure the best results, we strongly recommend performing a strand test before use. This will help you assess the hair’s color, elasticity, and strength.

HOW TO USE:
STEP 1 - Deep Cleansing Shampoo: Gently shampoo hair and work it through the scalp, massaging thoroughly. Repeat 2-3 times if necessary. Dry hair using a blow dryer at 80% if the hair is moderately curly, and 100% if very curly.

STEP 2 - Keratin Smoothing Treatment: ALWAYS wear gloves during the application. Section the hair into 4 equal parts. Apply the keratin smoothing treatment to thin sections of hair. Begin with ½ inch sections, working from scalp to ends, keeping ½ inch away from the scalp. Let it sit for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, blow your hair 100% dry.
Divide the hair into thin sections and flat iron it 7-10 times. After the application and flat ironing, let it cool for 5 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water, do not shampoo.

HAIR STRAIGHTENER TEMPERATURE:

  • Fine or damaged hair, blonde hair, relaxed hair, or hair with highlights: 375°F or 180°C to prevent breakage.
  • Normal or healthy hair, brunette and natural hair: 410°F or 210°C - for effective straightening.
  • Thick hair, coily/curly hair and undyed hair: 480°F or 250°C for maximum smoothing.

STEP 3 - Hair Finishing Mask: Wash the hair before applying the mask. Apply the mask, massaging thoroughly. Let it sit for 5 minutes and rinse well. Style as usual.

FAQ

1. My client has done a different brand of smoothing treatment before, can I still apply G.Hair Keratin Smoothing System?
It is recommended to apply only in the regrowth of curly or frizzy hair if the rest of the strand is still straight. Plus, it is always recommended to do a strand test to make sure the result.

2. My client has bleached hair. Does G.Hair Keratin Smoothing System change their hair color?
No, it doesn't. But some care needs to be taken. It is recommended to wait at least 1 week to do the G.Hair Keratin Smoothing System because the bleached hair needs time to stabilize its color and its PH. And pay attention to the flat iron temperature for bleached hair: Blonde hair, relaxed hair, or hair with highlights: 375°F or 180°C

3. How much time should I make available for a full service?
On average, 1 and a half to 2 hours. This, of course, will depend on the length and density of the hair.

4. What types of hair can this be used for?
G.Hair Keratin Smoothing System can be applied on all types of hair including toned, white, discolored, dyed, and virgin hair. Again paid to the “method for use” with the correct diagnosis of the hair strands test.

5. How long does the effect last?
Depending on your hair-washing routine, the treatment can last up to 20 weeks. It is conditional on the client's home care. 6. Can the client wash their hair on the same day?
Yes, they can. G.Hair Keratin Smoothing System is a rinse treatment, unlike other products. At the moment the client leaves the salon, the hair can be washed, and tied in a ponytail; clips and the like can be also used!

7. Why should I use the Step 3 Hair Finishing Mask? The Step 3 Hair Finishing Mask will treat and neutralize the PH of the threads, avoiding a strong smell that may remain in the threads after the treatment.
